Problems solved by technology

The European Union will fully implement the ROHS directive on July 1, 2006. This decree requires that electrical and electronic products placed in the EU must not contain polybrominated diphenyl ethers and polybrominated biphenyls. This decree has seriously restricted the export of electrical and electronic products in my country.

Abstract

The invention relates to a PBT and ABS flame- proof material. The component and their weight proportion are follows: PBT 30-70%, ABS 10-50%, AS 1-20%, AS-GMA 1-20%, montmorillonite 1-20%, flame- proof agent 1-20%, and anti-oxidant 0.1-1%. The PBT and ABS flame- proof material possesses high flame- proof performance, the flame- proof grade can reach V0 class of UL 94 standard, and it aslo improves material performance, especially the rigidity and thermal resistance, and the size stability is good. It is suited to inject and shape electrical apparatus that requires environmental protectio and flame proof.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a PBT and ABS flame retardant material, in particular to a PBT and ABS nano flame retardant material which can be used for injection molding various electronic and electrical equipment and household electrical appliances which have environmental protection flame retardant requirements and are for export. technical background [0002] Nearly 95% of the flame retardants used in the current flame-retardant PBT / ABS are halogen-containing flame retardants, especially the bromine-containing flame retardants represented by polybrominated diphenyl ethers and polybrominated biphenyls have high efficiency and low dosage. The performance of the material has little impact, and the price is moderate, and its performance / price ratio is unmatched by other flame retardants. Therefore, 70% to 80% of the electrical and electronic products for export in my country use this type of flame retardant. However, in recent years, brominated flame retarda...
