The method comprises: mixing bentonite filter cake, sodium salt powder and urea powder to obtain a mixture, drying, pulverizing, and uniformly mixing with gelating agent to obtain bentonite inorganic gel. The sodium salt powder is one or more of sodium carbonate, sodium fluoride and sodium silicate. The addition amounts of sodium salt powder and urea powder are 2-10 wt. % and 0-20 wt. % of bentonite filter cake, respectively. The gelating agent is one or more of glues and cellulose substances, and the addition amount is 1-30 wt. % of the mixture. The method has such advantages as simple process, high efficiency, and high product performance, no toxicity and no harm, and is suitable for mass production.
