Abstract

The present invention concerns a transmitter. A transmitter includes generating unit configured to generate a feedback signal and and an analyzing unit configured to analyze transmission quality in a time domain and in a frequency domain by using the feedback signal. The transmitter also includes an adapting unit configured to adapt the pre-distorter if the transmission quality is below the threshold.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a data processing method in a transmitter including a predistorter, a predistortion device, a transmitter, a network unit and a base station. Background technique [0002] Due to nonlinear effects of the analog components of the transmission chain, the transmitted signal amplitude and phase are distorted. The main cause of this distortion is the transmitter's power amplifier. In addition to amplifying the desired signal, the power amplifier also generates higher order harmonics of the original signal spectrum. The spread of the signal spectrum produces two main results: the RF spectrum mask does not meet the power requirements of the out-of-band radiation, and there is an error in detecting the distorted signal in the receiver. [0003] Spreading of the signal spectrum can be avoided (or at least reduced) by using linearization techniques. Several different linearization techniques exist in the prior art. The most effective...
