The invention is a method which can decrease the content of phosphorus ion compound in the aqueous dye-based ink and include the procedures as follows: (1) solid anhydrous sodium sulfate is added to the dye solution to process dye salting-out and then the precipitate is filtered; (2) the filtered precipitate is washed by the saturation solid sodium sulfate solution and then the precipitate is dried; quantitative dried solid is dissolved in water-solubility organic solvent and then the solution is filtered to obtain the filtrate; (3) the filtrate is mixed with water according to certain weight ratio and then the solution passes through the cation exchange resin layer after stirring; sodium sulfate adjusted solution is added with the PH value and then the solution is processed with standing for 7 to 10 days and then the solution is filtered.
