AI Technical Summary

Problems solved by technology

[0014] (2) When an AC voltage is applied to the charging roller 12, the charging roller 12 that has been in contact with the photoconductive drum 11 vibrates, causing vibration noise
[0015] (3) The toner on the surface 11a of the photoconductive drum 11 is firmly fixed to the charging roller 12, resulting in a decrease in charging performance
However, perchlorate or fluorine-containing organic anion salts are not effective in achieving conductive properties
Therefore, the generation of uneven discharge is an inevitable problem

Abstract

A conductive member includes a conductive supporting body, an electrostatic resistance adjusting layer formed on the conductive supporting body, and a space holding member, which is formed on each of both end portions of the electric resistance adjusting layer, has a material different from a material of the electric resistance adjusting layer, and constantly maintains a space between the electric resistance adjusting layer and the image carrier, wherein the electric resistance adjusting layer comprises a resin composition including thermoplastic resin containing at least polyamide elastomer and polyolefin block polymer and plural types of salt containing at least one type of salt selected from perchlorate and at least one type of salt selected from fluorine-containing organic anion salt. The invention also provides a process cartridge using the conductive member and image forming device using the process cartridge.

Description

[0001] priority statement [0002] This application is based on and claims priority from Japanese Patent Application No. 2007-309236 filed on November 29, 2007, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety. technical field [0003] The present invention relates to a conductive member, a process cartridge using the conductive member, and an image forming apparatus using the process cartridge. Background technique [0004] In an image forming apparatus having an electrophotographic process such as a copying machine, a laser printer, or a facsimile machine, a conductive member is generally used as a charging member that performs a charging process on a photoconductive drum as an image carrier, and charges toner on the photoconductive drum. It is used as a transfer member that performs transfer processing. [0005] figure 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating an imaging device. This image forming apparatus includes a photoconductive drum 11 on w...
