Abstract

The invention relates to a comfortable multi-functional knee pad. The knee pad comprises a knee pad barrel, wherein the knee pad barrel is a clamping barrel consisting of an inner layer and an outer layer; a protective inner container is arranged between the inner layer and the outer layer of the knee pad barrel; the protective inner container comprises more than one textile fiber layer of which the two outer side faces are provided with a protective interlayer respectively; and the textile fiber layer is the textile fiber layer which is steeped by shear thickening fluid. The protective inner container is soft in a normal state, but becomes hard in case of high speed collision or extrusion to counteract an external force and restores to an original soft state after the external force disappears. Better protective effect can be provided under the condition of equivalent thickness, so safer knee protection is ensured; the knee pad is lighter, thinner and closer to the skin while achieving the protective effect of a conventional knee pad and is also softer during conventional movements without high speed collision; an unconscious strenuous exercise after a knee is injured causes the shear thickening fluid to become hard, but the knee pad limits the strenuous exercise and effectively protects recovery of knee injury.
