Abstract

The invention relates to separating identification of new compound furostanol saponin in smilacina japonica and antitumor application thereof. In the invention, a new furostanol saponin compound is obtained by design and separating smilacina japonica and has a name of 26-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(25R)-furost-5-en-3beta,12,17alpha,22xi,26-pentol-12-O-acetyle-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1->2)-beta-D-glucopyranoside. The invention carries out antitumor activity test on the new compound by adopting an MTT (Microwave Theory and Technique) method; and indicated by test results, the compound has activity for inhibiting human lung adenocarcinoma SPC-A-1 cell growth, and an IC50 value is 7.67 mug.mL<-1>.
