The invention discloses a method for preparing an instant donkey-hid gelatin product for the old people, which comprises the following steps: preparing extracting solution of functional materials and preparing instant donkey-hid gelatins; putting the instant donkey-hid gelatins into the extracting solution to dissolve uniformly, wherein the amount of the instant donkey-hid gelatins accounts for 1 to 10 percent of the weight of the extracting solution; carrying out degasification on the obtained product; then freezing the obtained product for 2 to 24 hours at temperature of minus 15 DEG C to minus 80 DEG C; and sequentially carrying out vacuum freeze drying, cutting and packing on the obtained product so as to obtain the instant donkey-hid gelatin product. The selected materials used in the method are all medicine and food materials without any side effects; and the product prepared by using the method of the invention just melts in the mouth without water, therefore, the product is easy to quantitatively take for a long time.
