The high-performance high voltage ignition coil comprises a positive high voltage generating circuit, a negative high voltage generating circuit and a pulse generator, wherein the positive high voltage generating circuit comprises a first high voltage transformer and a first voltage doubling rectifying circuit which is connected with a secondary coil of the first high voltage transformer; the negative high voltage generating circuit comprises a second high voltage transformer and a second voltage doubling rectifying circuit which is connected with a secondary coil of the second high voltage transformer; the pulse generator comprises an adjustable resistor, controlled silicon, an inductor, a third capacitor and a voltage stabilizing diode; and the pulse generator provides pulse voltages for a first field-effect tube and a second field-effect tube.
