Glucocorticoids become preferred drugs for asthma treatment and play important roles in controlling the asthma, but hormone-dependent type asthma patients are necessary to use the glucocorticoids in quantity for a long time so that intracorporal glucocorticoid receptors are down regulated and reduced in affinity, therefore the inhibition of the airway inflammation is affected and the asthma is recurrent and protractedly cured.
