Abstract

The invention discloses application of lipoxin in treating hormone-dependent type asthma. Glucocorticoids become preferred drugs for asthma treatment and play important roles in controlling the asthma, but hormone-dependent type asthma patients are necessary to use the glucocorticoids in quantity for a long time so that intracorporal glucocorticoid receptors are down regulated and reduced in affinity, therefore the inhibition of the airway inflammation is affected and the asthma is recurrent and protractedly cured. The lipoxin can enhance the sensibility of the hormone-dependent type asthma patients on hormones by inhibiting related multidrug resisting proteins, thereby enhancing the curative effect on treating the asthma through the hormones and reducing the dosage and the side effect of the hormones; and in addition, the invention provides a new treatment method for the hormone-dependent type asthma.
