The invention relates to a method of manufacturing metal forming components (1,1a,1b) for an automobile part. Each forming component comprises at least one area with relatively high extensibility. The method comprises the steps of preparing a slab (10) by alloy steel which by weight percentage is composed of carbon (C) 0.18-0.3, silicon (Si) 0.1-2.5, manganese (Mn) 1.0-2.5, phosphor (P) with a maximum 0.025, chromium (Cr) 0.1-0.8, molybdenum (Mo) 0.1-0.5, sulfur (S) with a maximum 0.01, titanium (Ti) 0.02-0.05, boron (B) 0.002-0.005, aluminum (A1) 0.01-0.06, with the rest being iron and melting impurities; uniformly heating the slab (10) to a temperature between 900 DEG to 950 DEG; shaping the slab in a compacting mold (13) into forming components (1,1a,1b); performing modifying treatment on the forming components (1,1a,1b) in the compacting mold (13); and locally soft annealing the forming components (1,1a,1b).
