Abstract

The glass fiber reinforced flame-retarded polypropylene composite comprises the following compositions in percentage by weight: 22-49% of polypropylene, 0.6-1% of white oil, 8-20% of compatibilizer, 22-26% of flame retardant, 20-30% of glass fiber and 0.4-1% of lubricating agent, wherein the self-made compatibilizer is composed of polypropylene, maleic anhydride, styrene and an initiator. The composite disclosed by the invention concurrently has the characteristics of high strength, high toughness and good flame retardance; and the application range of the polypropylene composite is enlarged, thus the polypropylene composite disclosed by the invention can be widely applied to the fields of industrial equipment and home appliances.
