Problems solved by technology

When performing frequency scanning, the mobile terminal cannot determine the bandwidth of the base station transmitter, so it can only use the minimum possible bandwidth on the frequency point for RSSI detection (for example, it can be 1.4MHz ~ 5MHz), when the bandwidth of the base station transmitter is greater than the minimum bandwidth (the maximum bandwidth of the transmitter is 20MHz), if the sorting is performed according to the detected RSSI, due to the frequency point selection, the energy of the selected center frequency point may not be very large, thereby greatly reducing the detection accuracy and resulting in detection time too long

Embodiment Construction

[0027] like figure 1 As shown, the mobile terminal includes a time-frequency transform module and a frequency point selection module.

[0028] The time-frequency transformation module is used to convert the received time-domain signal into a frequency-domain signal;

[0029] The frequency point selection module is used to determine the frequency point for accessing the network by scanning the power spectrum of the frequency domain signal of the frequency band to be scanned.

[0030] The time-frequency conversion module is also used to divide the time-domain signal into multiple time-domain segment signals with the reference duration T as the time interval, and sequentially process each time-domain segment signal, and only process the time-domain segment whose signal strength is greater than the preset threshold The signal undergoes a time-frequency signal transformation.

[0031] The time-frequency transformation module is also used to perform time-frequency signal transform...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a mobile terminal for achieving rapid frequency scanning. The method comprises the following steps: received time domain signals are converted into frequency domain signals by the mobile terminal, and frequency points for accessing networks are determined through scanning a power spectrum of the frequency domain signals of a frequency band to be scanned. According to the invention, aiming at characteristics of an LTE (long term evolution) system, the time domain signals in the whole detected band width are converted into frequency domain signals by in a frequency spectrum detection mode, then the frequency spectrum of the received signals is scanned to determine the possible central frequency point which is detected preferentially. According to the invention, the frequency scanning speed can be improved, the time required by frequency scanning is shortened, thus the effect of rapid starting is achieved, and the power consumption of a mobile terminal receiving set is reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a wireless communication method, in particular to a method for realizing fast frequency scanning and a mobile terminal. Background technique [0002] In a wireless communication system, especially a cellular communication system, frequency scanning is a very important step for a user equipment (User Equipment, UE for short), that is, a mobile terminal. When the mobile terminal is turned on, it will make a priority access attempt according to its pre-stored frequency points. If it fails, it needs to perform frequency scanning in all other possible frequency bands to find a frequency point that can be accessed, and then access the network. Frequency scanning also needs to be performed when the mobile terminal is turned on for the first time or when a network signal cannot be detected. [0003] In most cellular systems, the system will pre-set possible frequency intervals, such as Global System for Mobile Communications (...
