Abstract

The invention relates to phthalocyanine blue and a manufacturing process. The phthalocyanine blue comprises the following components: 45 to 50 percent of copper phthalocyanine, 45 to 48 percent of sulfuric acid, 3 to 5 percent of liquid caustic soda, 1 to 2 percent of rosin and 1 to 2 percent of calcium chloride. The purity of copper phthalocyanine is over 95 percent, and the concentration of the sulfuric acid is 95 to 99 percent. The manufacturing process comprises: (1) a step of acid dissolution, which is to mix 620 parts of copper phthalocyanine with 600 parts of 98-percent sulfuric acid; (2) a step of dilution, which is to add 4,000 parts of water and introducing 2,500 parts of vapor; (3) a step of pickling; (4) a step of neutralization, which is to add 60 parts of liquid caustic soda and 800 parts of water for neutralization; (5) a step of pulping, which is to add 2 parts of rosin and calcium chloride and introducing 400 parts of vapor; (6) a step of alkaline wash; (7) a step of drying; and (8) a step of crushing.
