Abstract

The invention discloses a method for cleaning a glass electrode used for on-line measurement of pH value of drilling fluid, aiming at solving the problem of inaccurate measuring result due to easy pollution even scaling of sensitive portions of the electrode when on-line glass electrode is used for measuring the pH value of the drilling fluid in petroleum drilling. The method adopts polyacrylamide and a dilute solution of surfactant as the cleaning fluid, and uses a method of spray cleaning, thus the glass electrode can be cleaned effectively, and the accurate and long-term on-line measurement of the pH value of the drilling fluid is guaranteed. According to the method, the service life of the glass electrode can satisfy the requirement of on-line measurement. The addition of polyacrylamide is 0.01-0.1 %, and the addition of the surfactant is 1-5 %. Polyacrylamide can be homopolymer and also can be partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide. The surfactant is nonionic.
