Abstract

The method for rapidly detecting the car logo in the videos and images comprises the steps of: (1) coarsely positioning the car logo; (2) pre-processing and filtering an image; (3) performing highlighting processing on a filtering result of the image to remove noise points from the image; (4) binarizing the image subjected to the highlighting processing; (5) selecting a binary image; and (6) extracting a car logo region exactly.
