Abstract

The invention provides the intake device of an internal combustion engine, which comprises a plurality of air intake passages used for introducing air from an air filter into a throttle body. A connection supporting member (52) supported in an air cleaning box (44) comprises a first downstream air inlet passage part (61) and a second downstream air inlet passage part (62) used for communicating the flow outlet of a high-speed air intake passage (53) with the flow outlet of a low-speed air intake passage (54), and a confluence part used for converging the first downstream air inlet passage part (61) with the second downstream air inlet passage part (62). Through the connection supporting member (52), the high-speed air intake passage (53) and the low-speed air intake passage (54) are supported within an air cleaner (22).
