Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows us to separate solubilized proteins (glutelin) from other substances like fats or sugars during processing. By doing this we improve both purity and recovery rate of crude starch-based products such as rice flour syrups. Additionally, by separating these components into two different streams - one containing pure amylopectin without impurities while another stream contains enzymes added separately before being further processed. Overall, it simplifies the production processes and ensures safe use of raw materials.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to improving the purification of grain-based food products such as rice cereals during production processes like extractive distillers' alcoholic fermentations (YOA). Current methods involve multiple steps including acid/alkali treatment followed by filtration, but these techniques have limitations due to their poor selectivity towards specific compounds present within each step.

Embodiment 1

[0035] This embodiment is used to illustrate the preparation method of cornstarch provided by the present invention.

[0036] (1) Raw material pretreatment

[0037] Corn raw material (moisture content 14% by weight) is transported by the bucket elevator into the initial cleaning screen, iron remover, plane rotary cleaning screen for screening, stone removal, magnetic separation and other purification processes;

[0038] (2) Soaking

[0039] After the purified corn is measured, it is transported to the soaking system by hydraulic power, and then countercurrently soaked with sulfurous acid aqueous solution. There are 10 soaking tanks, and 50 tons of the above-mentioned purified corn raw materials are respectively added to the 10 soaking tanks, wherein the soaking tanks are connected in series in sequence, the soaking time is 48 hours, and the soaking temperature is 50±2°C;

[0040] (3) Degermination

[0041] The soaked corn enters the wet corn storage hopper through the wet c...

Embodiment 2

[0054] This embodiment is used to illustrate the preparation method of cornstarch provided by the present invention.

[0055] Prepare cornstarch according to the method for embodiment 1, difference is:

[0056] (1) Process water obtained by concentrating 1000 L of gluten water [insoluble protein concentration: 1.96% (m / v)] was placed in a reaction vessel.

[0057] (2) dissolving the polyacrylic acid flocculant with a number average molecular weight of 8 million in water to obtain a solution with a mass volume ratio concentration of 0.05%; polyaluminum chloride (n is 1-5, m≤10, basicity B=n / 6×100%) is dissolved in water to prepare a polyaluminum chloride solution with a concentration of 5% by mass to volume. And at 40 DEG C, add above-mentioned two kinds of flocculant aqueous solutions to the process water obtained after the above-mentioned gluten water is concentrated, the consumption (25L) of described polyacrylic acid flocculant aqueous solution makes the amount of polyacry...

Embodiment 3

[0061] This embodiment is used to illustrate the preparation method of cornstarch provided by the present invention.

[0062] Prepare cornstarch according to the method of Example 1, the difference is that when the process water obtained after the gluten water is concentrated is subjected to protein separation, the amount (30L) of the sodium polyacrylate flocculant aqueous solution makes the sodium polyacrylate flocculant The amount in process water is 15ppm, and the consumption (0.9L) of described polyaluminum chloride flocculant aqueous solution makes the amount of polyaluminum chloride flocculant in process water be 45ppm, and the dry matter content of the water obtained after filtering is 1.32% by weight . The filter cake was dried at 90°C to obtain a protein content of 61% (m / m) in the feed.

Abstract

A preparation method of corn starch comprises the following steps: soaking corn grains, crushing the soaked corn grains, separating germs, grinding the degermed corn grains with corn bran and endosperm, separating fibers, separating the obtained crude starch milk to obtain gluten water and starch milk, and washing the starch milk, wherein the treatment method of the gluten water comprises gluten water concentration so as to obtain a concentrate, and process water comprising insoluble protein, mixing the process water with a flocculating agent, performing solid-liquid separation; the flocculating agent is a substance which can flocculate and/or precipitate insoluble protein in the process water. The method of the invention can perform effective separation of the insoluble protein in the process water from water, and thus greatly increase the yield of gluten protein powder. In addition, the process water after protein flocculation is recycled for the soaking of corn and the washing of germs and fibers, and basically reaches the effect for soaking and washing with fresh water, and thus the quality of fine starch milk is significantly improved.
