Abstract

The invention provides an electric energy meter, which comprises a voltage channel analog-to-digital conversion unit, a current channel analog-to-digital conversion unit, a power calculation circuit, a first clock generation unit and a second clock generation unit, wherein the voltage channel analog-to-digital conversion unit is provided with a voltage channel modulator, a low-pass filter and a high-pass filter; the current channel analog-to-digital conversion unit is provided with a current channel modulator, a low-pass filter and a high-pass filter; the power calculation circuit is provided with a multiplying unit and a low-pass filter; the first clock generation unit is used for providing two non-overlapped sampling clock pulses and two non-overlapped chopping clock pulses for the voltage channel modulator; and the second clock generation unit is used for providing two non-overlapped sampling clock pulses and two non-overlapped chopping clock pulses for the current channel modulator. Compared with the prior art, according to the electric energy meter provided by the invention, as the two chopping clock pulses provided for the voltage channel modulator and the current channel modulator are not related basically, the relativity of idle noise in the voltage channel modulator and the current channel modulator is reduced, and thereby, the measuring accuracy of the electric energy meter can be increased.
