Problems solved by technology

But in the high temperature season in summer, although modern chicken farms use wet curtains to cool down, the temperature in the house is still maintained at about 30°C in summer. High temperature is a kind of stress for chickens, which leads to a decrease in feed intake of laying hens, which not only affects their egg production amount, the egg weight will decrease, the egg shell will become thinner, the egg quality will decrease, and it will affect the disease resistance of laying hens
At present, the method of increasing egg production in high temperature seasons in summer is mainly to reduce the temperature inside the house through wet curtains and spray cooling. Although some effects have been achieved, there is still a certain distance from the normal production environment requirements of chickens.

Embodiment 1

[0019] The experiment was carried out in the same open chicken house in Yuda Ecological Agriculture Farm in Yixing City. The time is from May 1st to August 31st, 2011. The distribution of the maximum daytime temperature in Yixing City from May 1 to August 31, 2011 is shown in Table 1. During the entire test period of 123 days, the temperature was higher than 30°C for 85 days.

[0020] 2,000 Hai-Line brown commercial laying hens were divided into 4 groups (3 experimental groups and 1 control group), with 500 chickens in each group. The feed formula of each group is as follows:

[0021] Control group: Feed normal feed without fresh soybean oil instead of corn and without adding active acid. The diet consists of 25% soybean meal, 60% corn, 2% bran, 8% shell powder, and 5% premix ( purchased from Yangzhou University Feed Factory).

[0022] Experiment 1 group: In the normal feed of laying hens from May to June, 0.5% fresh soybean oil was used to replace the corn in the feed, and...

Embodiment 2

[0037]The experiment was carried out in the same open chicken house in the chicken farm of Huafeng Breeding Professional Cooperative in Yixing City. The time is from May 1st to August 31st, 2011. The distribution of daytime maximum temperature in Yixing City from May 1 to August 31, 2011 is also shown in Table 1.

[0038] 2,000 Roman brown commercial laying hens were divided into 4 groups (3 experimental groups and 1 control group), with 500 chickens in each group, and the feed formula for each group was as follows:

[0039] Control group: normal feed group, its diet consisted of 26% soybean meal, 61% corn, 8% shell powder, and 5% premix (purchased from the feed factory of Yangzhou University)

[0040] Experiment 1 group: In the normal feed of laying hens from May to June, 0.5% fresh soybean oil was used to replace the corn in the feed, and 1.5g of active acid (purchased from Shanghai Guolong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. Co., Ltd., the main ingredients include: lactic acid, propi...

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of poultry production and discloses feed and a method for improving egg quality and egg yield of layers in hot seasons. The feed is made by adding 0.5wt%-2.5wt% of soybean oil into a formula of normal layer feed to equivalently replace corn in the formula of the normal layer feed, and adding 1.5-2g of vital acids per kilogram of the feed. Shell thickness of eggs laid by the layers fed with the feed can be increased by 5.5%-8.6%, Haugh unit can be increased by 1.1%-3.5%, shell strength can be increased by 2.2%-2.9%, breakage rate of the eggs is reduced by 2-3%, utilization rate of the feed is increased by 5%-8%, mortality rate of the layers in hot period is reduced by 1-2%, and feather of the layers is brighter in color and gloss.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of poultry production, in particular to a feed and a method for improving egg production and egg quality of laying hens in high temperature seasons. Background technique [0002] The breeding quantity of layer hens in my country ranks first in the world, the breeding quantity of commercial layer hens is about 1.5 billion, and the egg production accounts for more than 40% of the world. Most of the provenances of laying hens currently raised are imported from abroad, and the feeding methods and dietary formulas have been relatively stable. But in the high temperature season in summer, although modern chicken farms use wet curtains to cool down, the temperature in the house is still maintained at about 30°C in summer. High temperature is a kind of stress for chickens, which leads to a decrease in feed intake of laying hens, which not only affects their egg production The quantity will reduce the egg weight, the eggshell...
