Embodiment Construction

[0062] The present invention will be described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0063] Concrete combination figure 1 A cross-layer design system model description combining AMC and ARQ technology.

[0064] For the sake of simplicity, the example provided by the present invention considers adaptively changing the modulation and coding method, and the joint physical layer and the data link layer set the mode switching point of the modulation and coding method, the maximum number of retransmissions of the data link layer ARQ and the rearrangement timer . Such as figure 1 As shown, in this example, considering the situation that both the transmitting end and the receiving end are single-antenna, the corresponding method can be extended to be used in a multi-antenna scenario. Without loss of generality, the arrival process of data packets at the sending end is described by Poisson distribution, assuming that the channel is a block fading channel, ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a link adapting method based on an AMC-ARQ (Adaptive Modulation and Coding-Automatic Repeat-reQuest) striding layer. The link adapting method comprises the step of designing a mapping relation of a receiving SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) of a physical layer and MCS (Modulation Coding Scheme) by utilizing a QoS (Quality of Service) demand of a data link layer and the information of the physical layer according to a target packet error rate of the physical layer. According to an ergodic method, the optimal packet error rate of the physical layer, the maximum retransmission times of the ARQ of the data link layer and the size combination of a rearranging timer of the data link layer are searched, so that the use ratio of effective frequency spectrum is maximal. According to the link adapting method provided by the invention, the physical layer and the data link layer are comprehensively considered; the correlation influence of the parameters between the two layers is fully utilized to obtain AMC and ARQ parameters; the optimal parameter combination for maximizing the efficiency of the effective frequency spectrum is obtained; and the time delay is calculated by dividing the time delay into two parts of a queuing time delay and a transmission time delay, so that the calculation for the time delay is more accurate. According to the link adapting method provided by the invention, the selection for a modulation coding mode is relative to a channel condition and transmission times, and the redundant information transmitted at each time is fully utilized.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a wireless network, relates to a communication system which jointly carries out parameter design on a data link layer and a physical layer, and particularly relates to an AMC-ARQ-based cross-layer link self-adaptation method. Background technique [0002] In mobile communication networks, there is an increasing demand for higher data rate services and guaranteed service quality. But the system performance is mainly limited by the performance of the wireless link. Compared with wired links, the resources (bandwidth and power) of wireless links are scarce and precious; and due to multipath fading, Doppler effect and time dispersion effect in wireless transmission, the performance of wireless air interface degrades rapidly . [0003] In wireless fading channels, if a non-adaptive modulation and coding method is used, it is necessary to ensure that the system performance requirements can still be met when the channel qual...
