The invention provides an environment friendly underwater dredging vehicle for channels; the environment friendly underwater dredging vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a walking mechanism, wherein a dredging working mechanism is mounted at the front end of the vehicle body; a sealed cabin is mounted on the vehicle body; the dredging working mechanism comprises a mud cutting component and a mud pump; an input end of the mud pump is arranged on the mud cutting component; an output end of the mud pump is connected with a mud discharging pipe; a driving device and a main controller are mounted in the sealed cabin; the walking mechanism is connected with the driving device in a transmission way; the main controller comprises a signal transmission device and is in communication connection with a remote control device by the signal transmission device; the mud pump and the driving device are respectively connected with the main controller and used for acting according to a control signal output by the main controller; the environment friendly underwater dredging vehicle further comprises a buoy which is relatively fixed together with the vehicle body; the buoy is connected with a gas pump by a gas conveying pipe; a control valve is arranged on the gas conveying pipe; and the gas pump and the control valve are connected with the main controller and used for acting according to a control signal output by the main controller.
