The invention provides a GPS vehicle anti-theft device with acceleration transducer which comprises a microprogrammed control unit (MCU) module, a global system for mobile communication (GSM) module, a GPS module, a G-SENSOR and a power management module. The MCU module monitors the state changes of the G-SENSOR, obtains locating information of the GPS module, and processes the information; the GSM module exchanges data with a management platform through a general packet radio service (GPRS) data channel under the monitoring of the MCU module; the GPS module obtains the locating information of vehicles, the G-SENSOR senses motion states of the vehicles and sends trigger signals to the MCU module according to changes of the motion states of the vehicles; and the power management module provides power for the GSM module and the GPS module under the monitoring of the MCU module. According to a GPS vehicle anti-theft method and the vehicle anti-theft device with the acceleration transducer, the whole power consumption is low; and under a circumference of a same battery capacity, the stand-by time is greatly prolonged, and the false alarm probability of equipment can be effectively reduced.
