An IOT-enabled smart garment for location-based detection of bulletproof vest penetration using a liquid-conductivity-based sensor technology

PCT designated stageWO2026135640A1Position fixationSensorsMicrocontrollerAssociated injury
The invention relates to a novel loT-enabled smart garment system designed to be worn beneath a bulletproof vest, to perform location-based determination of a body region penetrated by a projectile after penetration of the vest, to detect multiple projectile impacts, and to differentiate impacts to vital organs, thereby enabling advance planning of medical intervention and casualty evacuation, wherein the loT-enabled smart garment comprises liquid-conductivity-based sensor nodes positioned in a 3x3 matrix arrangement on both the front and rear sides of the body so as to define a total of 18 independent regions, wherein each sensor node includes an IV fluid bag disposed between two opposing conductive metal plates in the sensor and containing silver nitrate or a similar conductive liquid, wherein the loT-enabled smart garment incorporates a liquid-conductivity-based switching mechanism which operates on the principle that, when a projectile impacts the body, rupture of the IV fluid bag causes the conductive liquid to flow between the metal plates, thereby forming a short-circuit condition, wherein, by means of said mechanism, a microcontroller determines which of the 18 sensor nodes corresponds to a closed switch state, thereby providing a point-specific identification of the body region through which the projectile has penetrated, wherein the loT-enabled smart garment further includes a GPS module for determining a location information of the injured person, an IMU sensor for monitoring the motion state of the injured person, biometric sensors for tracking vital signs such as a heart rate and a body temperature, and a GSM module for transmitting real-time notifications to medical response teams and relevant security units so as to accelerate the intervention process, and wherein the loT-enabled smart garment system thereby enables life-saving medical intervention in projectile-related injuries by means of all these features.

An Anti-jamming method and device

An anti-jamming method (10.1, 10.2) and a vehicle anti-theft device (20) are disclosed. The device (20) includes a signal jammer detection module (22) and a processor (18). The signal jammer detection module (22) is configured to monitor wireless signal strength or connectivity status of modules such as a GSM module (25), GPS module (26), and Bluetooth module (21). The processor (18) is configured to determine the presence of a signal jammer (7) when the monitored signal strength exceeds a predetermined threshold or upon simultaneous connectivity failure. In response, the processor (18) autonomously initiates one or more vehicle anti-theft measures (24), which may depend on the engine's operational state (33). The anti- theft measures (24) may include forcing the vehicle's transmission (6) into a Park position to immobilise the vehicle (1). The invention overcomes the problem of being unable to remotely communicate with and control a stolen vehicle due to the presence of a signal jammer (7).
