Abstract

The invention relates to a diluting agent for transferring printing paste. The diluting agent comprises the following ingredients in mass percentages: 3 to 6 percent of PVB (polyvinyl butyral) and 94 to 97 percent of auxiliaries, wherein the auxiliaries are mixtures of methanol and isobutanol. When the environment temperature is lower than 10 DEG C, the volume ratio of the methanol to the isobutanol is 3:(1-1.5). When the environment temperature is 10 to 30 DEG C, the volume ratio of the methanol to the isobutanol is 1:(1-1.5). When the environment temperature is higher than 30 DEG C, the volume ratio of the methanol to the isobutanol is (1-1.5):3. The diluting agent has the following advantages that (1) PVB with different performances is selected for combination so that the paste meets a certain depth requirement, and the transfer printing color difference is controlled; and (2) the proper auxiliaries (the methanol and the isobutanol) are added into the diluting agent, so the storage of the used rest paste is more stable, and the production cost is saved.
