Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of a, selecting a wire rod; b, performing primary drawing on the wire rod through a wire drawing machine; c, performing heating, quenching and surface treatment on the steel wire subjected to the primary drawing to obtain a sorbitic treatment quenching steel wire; d, performing drawing on the quenching steel wire obtained through the heat treatment; e, performing heating, quenching and surface treatment on the steel wire subjected to the secondary drawing to finally obtain a sorbitic treatment quenching steel wire; and f, performing drawing on the quenching steel wire obtained through the heat treatment to manufacture the required steel wire. The hardness range of the steel wire manufactured by the method for manufacturing the low-hardness steel wire is from 340HV to 360HV. The toughness and the strength of the steel wire can be ensured, the product quality is stable, the production difficulty is small, and the prices of raw materials are low.
