Actuation means and method for actuating a clutch, in particular for a hybrid drive, having a master cylinder (6, 6', 6', 6'', 6''), the interior of which is separated from a master piston (7, 7', 7', T', 7'') in a slave oil space (8, 8') and a master oil space (9, 9'', 9'') wherein the slave oil space (8, 8') is connected, via a valve (18) in a first valve position, to a tank line (23) leading to an oil reservoir (24) and in a second valve position to a pressure line (26) of the oil reservoir (24), and wherein the master oil space (7, 7', 7', T', 7'') is connected via a working line (33) to the oil space (32) of a slave cylinder (5) and to an equalizing vessel (12) via an equalizing line (11) as a function of the position of the master piston (9, 9', 9', 9'', 9'') wherein the equalizing vessel (12) has an equalizing volume (20) which has, at its highest point, an overflow (21) which is connected to the tank line (23) and in that in its first position the valve (18) connects the slaveoil space (8, 8') to the equalizing vessel (12) via a return line (19).
