Abstract

The invention relates to a tapered roller bearing arrangement (100) for a direct drive generator of a wind turbine. The tapered roller bearing device (100) includes a first inner ring (20) with an inner raceway (21), and the inner raceway (21) includes an inner end (21a) and an outer end (21b). The tapered roller bearing arrangement (100) also includes an outer ring (30) having an outer raceway (31). A group of tapered rollers (10) are arranged in the cavity (60) between the first inner ring (20) and the outer ring (30). Furthermore, a grease inlet channel (50) and a grease outlet channel (70) are arranged in said first inner ring (20). The grease discharge channel (70) includes an inlet opening (70a) provided at the axial side of the first inner ring (20) facing the rollers and located at the inner raceway (21) between the outer end and the radially outer end (23) of the first inner ring.
