Abstract

The invention discloses an ammopiptanthus mongolicus low-temperature stress related gene, and an expression carrier and applications thereof, and belongs to the field of separation and applications of genes relating to plant stress resistance. cDNA sequences of the low-temperature stress related gene separated from ammopiptanthus mongolicus are represented by SEQ ID No.1; and coded amino acid sequences are represented by SEQ ID No.2. The invention also provides the recombined plant expression carrier containing the low-temperature stress related gene, and host cells containing the recombined plant expression carrier. In addition, the invention provides a method used for increasing or improving resistance to plant low temperature stress. The method comprises following steps: the recombined plant expression carrier containing the low-temperature gene is constructed; the recombined plant expression carrier is transformed into receptor plants or plant cells; and gene modified plant varieties are obtained via cultivating and screening. The low-temperature stress related gene separated from ammopiptanthus mongolicus possesses important application prospect in increasing plant resistance to environmental stress or cultivating low-temperature stress resistant plant varieties.
