Abstract

On the basis of a wireless sensor network technology, the wild animal field monitoring device can form a wireless sensor network in a self-organizing mode to automatically collect and send wild animal monitoring images. The wild animal field monitoring device is composed of an image collecting module, an image processing module, a wireless communication module, a GPS module and a power supply module, wherein the image collecting module is provided with three pyroelectric infrared sensors, a plurality of infrared LEDs, a photosensitive sensor and two steering engines and can automatically collecting the wild animal monitoring images. The wild animal field monitoring device adopts an image compression algorithm based on compressed sensing and has high energy efficiency and a high compression ratio to reduce data transmission quantity.
