Abstract

Yellowing by slow curing is performed under low temperature and mid-high humidity in the yellowing early intermediate phase (smaller than 40.0 DEG C); yellowing by slow heating is performed under mid-low humidity in the yellowing later intermediate phase (40.0-42.0 DEG C), and the yellowing time is prolonged properly; color fixing by slow heating is performed under mid-low humidity in the color fixing phase (42.1-55.0 DEG C); fast stem drying is performed under mid-high humidity in the stem drying phase (55.1-70.0 DEG C). The method is applicable to tobacco which matures normally and which matures under drought conditions and also applicable to curing barns with low tobacco loading capacity, low tobacco loading density and poor moisture retention.
