Abstract

The invention discloses an offline browsing method and system of massive internet content. The method includes the steps that a content query request of a user is received by a content browser of a mobile terminal, the massive internet content stored in a memory card located in a host is searched for content matched with the query request of the user, a query result is fed back after matching is successful, and otherwise an online content query process will be carried out by the mobile terminal; the massive internet content is stored into the memory card. The achieving method includes the steps that updating index files of all data source sites in the internet are acquired by a server in real time and are converted into formats capable of being identified by a base station and stored into the server; the updating index files are downloaded by the base station from the server regularly in a packed mode, and updating content is downloaded from corresponding data source sites according to the files and is stored into a base station memorizer; the downloaded content is updated into the memory card by the base station.
