Abstract

The invention relates to a low-temperature tempering method which is mainly used for solving the problems of the prior art that the tempering oil does not have anti-rust property on a workpiece and a common antirust agent added is not matched with other components in the tempering oil and the anti-rust property is bad. The method provided by the invention solves the problems by adopting a technical scheme as follows: a workpiece needing tempering is subjected to tempering treatment in a tempering oil composition for 0.5-8 hours at 130-260 DEG C; and the tempering oil composition comprises the following components in parts by weight: a) 0.5-8 parts of antirust agent; b) 0.1-8 parts of purification dispersant; c) 0.05-3 parts of antioxidant; d) 0.001-3 parts of brightening agent; and e) 75-98 parts of base oil. The method provided by the invention can be applied to the low-temperature tempering process of various parts of the industries of automobiles, bearings and tools.
