The invention discloses a method, a device and a medical information system for prompting medication safety. The method comprises steps of extracting identifier information and execution time of prescribed medication from a treatment information database, extracting related records of the prescribed medications according to the identifier information of the prescribed medication, determining unsafe period of time of the prescribed medication corresponding to the influence factor according to each influence factor of the prescribed medication, extracting the identifier information and execution time of the target factor from the treatment information database, and responding to the influence factor of the prescribed medication matching with the identifier information of the target factor to perform safety medication prompting in a full medication cycle, wherein at least part of the execution time of the target factor falls into the unsafe time period corresponding to the matching influence factor. The invention can optimize internal data processing through associated use of the medication information database and the treatment information database.
