Abstract

The invention discloses data transmission method, device, and system, which are all used in an HFC network, reduce the time delay of uplink data of a user, and improve the network performance. The method comprises the steps: a CMTS PHY (cable modem terminal system physical) layer configures the distribution information of uplink resources for each of a plurality of cable modems according to a CMTS MAC (cable modem terminal system media access control) layer, and determines a time slice occupied when the uplink data, transmitted by a CM which is in self-connection, is forwarded to to the CMTS MAC layer; and the CMTS PHY layer enables the received uplink data, which is transmitted by the self-connection CM through employing the distribution information, configured by the CMTS MAC layer,of the uplink resources to the CMTS MAC layer on the determinate time slice.
