Abstract

The invention discloses a determination and evaluation method for the quality of lychees suitable for can processing. According to the method, the total acidity, brittleness and chromatic aberration a0 value of a to-be-detected lychee are only required to be determined; the determined values are substituted into the formula that Y is equal to a sum of a difference obtained by subtracting a product of 8.319 and the total acidity and a product of 0.445 and a0 value from (-2.471) and a product of 0.080 and the brittleness; if Y is larger than or equal to minus 1.55, the to-be-detected lychee is suitable for being processed into a can; and if Y is larger than minus 4.29 and smaller than minus 1.55, the to-be-detected lychee is basically suitable for being processed into the can; and if Y is smaller than or equal to minus 4.29, the to-be-detected lychee is not suitable for being processed into the can. According to the method, lychee can processing is studied with a scientific method, an evaluation method is established, determination of special lychee varieties suitable for can processing is facilitated, healthy and fast development of processing industry for agricultural products is promoted, and important basis can be also provided for lychee breeding, raw material base establishment and adjustment of a plant structure for farmers.
