Abstract

The invention provides a laser marking machine. When a workpiece is processed, a detecting instrument is driven to locate in different positions of a three-dimensional coordinate system through a three-dimensional mobile platform, and a voice coil motor is enabled to move, so that laser beams are respectively focused on the detecting instrument. Therefore, a correction table for the displacements of the voice coil motor can be obtained through recording the coordinate information of the different positions and the corresponding displacements of the voice coil motor when the laser beams are focused in the different positions. When the workpiece is marked, the three-dimensional mobile platform is dismantled, and the workpiece is put on a bearing table. A controller controls the voice coil motor to move according to the correction table and the coordinate information of light spots of the laser beams in the three-dimensional coordinate system, so that the laser beams are focused on the surface of the workpiece. Therefore, the laser marking machine and a marking method thereof can reduce the distortion so as to effectively improve the processing precision. In addition, the invention further provides a laser marking method.
