Abstract

The present invention provides a butt strap capable of ensuring necessary rigid strength and capable of realizing light weight and excellent processing. The butt strap has a plate-shaped main body of which an upper surface (2a) serves as a traveling surface of a wheelchair, and the plate-shaped main body comprises: a plate-shaped core formed by a thermoplastic resin material; and a reinforcing layer (7) formed by a fibre reinforced resin material pasted to at least an upper surface and a lower surface of the plate-shaped core.
