The water exploration string is connected all levels of connecting units composed of intelligent switches and packers through an oil pipe, each connecting unit corresponds to one layer section, and the intelligent switch on the topmost level is upwardly connected with an underground storage type water monitor, an oil well pump and a sucker rod connected with a pumping unit in the vertical well sections. Acquisition time of the monitor and the intelligent switches are set on the ground, when underground production starts, data of flow and water content and the like of fluid on each layer section are monitored online, recorded and played back through the underground storage type water monitor, and water production sections and water yield can be judged.
