Abstract

The invention provides a same-frequency interference inhibition method applied to an LTE system. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining a space covariance matrix within each subframe according to a pilot frequency; according to the space covariance matrix, determining whether interference exists among cells; and if the interference exists among the cells, inhibiting the interference by use of interference rejection combining (IRC), and if the interference does not exist, using maximum ratio combining (MRC). Compared to reduced performance of conventional IRC in case of nonexistence of same-frequency interference, through detecting whether the interference exist or nor, switching to the MRC is realized in case of nonexistence of the interference, such that the disadvantages of the IRC in case of the nonexistence of the frequency are eliminated, and the receiving performance is improved. At the same time, compared to separate processing of conventional channel estimation and the IRC, iteration channel estimation and the IRC, by use of data subcarriers, further estimate a channel and an interference and noise covariance matrix and improve the performance of the two.
