Abstract

The invention discloses a production method of a thin type tile. The tile is composed of the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 10 to 50% of glass powder, 11 to 40% of plastic clay, 2 to 5% of mica, 5 to 40% of wollastonite, 5 to 25% of talcum powder, and 15 to 40% of water; and is prepared by the following steps: weighing the raw materials according to the percentages mentioned above, mixing and evenly stirring the weighed raw materials together; extruding the mixture by a vacuum extruding machine, rolling the mixture along the extrusion direction to produce blank sheets, cutting the blank sheets into brick blanks with a required sized; transferring the brick blanks to a roller kiln, burning the brick blanks in the kiln at a temperature of 900 to 1200 DEG C for 20 to 30 minutes so as to obtain the tiles. Glass powder is adopted to produce the tiles, because glass powder does not contain any structural water and barely absorb water during the moulding process, the shrinkage of bricks during the burning process is small, the contraction due to burning is reduced, the brick size precision is improved, and warping and cracking are effectively prevented. The raw materials are pressed into blanks by an extrusion roller so as to eliminate the residual strain and moulding inhomogeneity and improve the size precision.
