The single-image truck volume measurement method includes the steps of 1, calibrating intrinsic parameters of a true camera, building a virtual reality environment through an OpenGL function library, and guiding an image of a measured truck and the three-dimensional model of the truck into the environment; 2, identifying feature points of the truck in the image of the truck with an ASM algorithm, and building the relationship between the image of the measured truck and the three-dimensional model of the truck; 3, automatically matching the three-dimensional model of the truck with the image of the measured truck through to-be-matched points on the image of the measured truck and control points on the three-dimensional model of the truck; 4, calculating the volume of the measured truck through the volume of the three-dimensional model of the truck according to the proportional relation between the virtual reality environment and the true environment.
