The water proof TPU thin film is composed of microporous thin film bodies of an outer surface layer, a middle layer and an inner surface layer which are compounded into a whole; the middle layer is the microporous thin film body which is prepared from polytetrafluoroethylene and thermoplastic polyurethane, and the outer surface layer and the inner surface layer are both polyether hermoplastic polyurethane microporous thin film bodies; the weight-average molecular weight of the thermoplastic polyurethane of the middle layer is (5-10)*105, and the number-average molecular weight of polytetrafluoroethylene of the middle layer is less than 600 thousand; the weight-average molecular weight of the polyether hermoplastic polyurethane of the outer surface layer and the inner surface layer is (20-30)*105. The invention further discloses a preparation method of the waterproof TPU think film.
