Problems solved by technology

Cuttings are affected by the survival rate and cannot be popularized on a large scale
Although the olive grafting technology is relatively mature, the same kind of grafting is generally used at present, resulting in little significance after grafting. If you can choose a non-same species of rootstock, you can form complementary advantages, but there is no heterogeneous grafting of olives. to report

Embodiment Construction

[0015] A method for olive heterografting, comprising the following measures:

[0016] (1) Tung tree rootstock preparation: Sow tung oil tung seeds on-site at a row spacing of 20 to 30 cm and a plant spacing of 10 to 15 cm from February to March, cover with soil 3 to 4 cm, and germinate and unearth about one month after sowing 20 days before the seeds germinate, evenly spray 45 ml of 0.1% Guoer herbicide per acre, and cover the exposed seeds with soil; when the seedlings grow 3 to 4 true leaves, they should be sprayed in time. Transplant and replenish seedlings, and water and fertilize. When the seedlings grow 5-7 true leaves, the concentration of nitrogen fertilizer for the initial topdressing is 0.5%, and 3 kg of fertilizer is applied per mu. Afterwards, fertilize according to the growth of the seedlings. When the height of the seedlings is 30-40cm , the terminal buds are cut off, and when the thickness of the rootstock stem reaches 1-1.4cm, it can be grafted.

Abstract

The invention discloses an olive xenoplastic grafting method comprising the following steps of (1) preparing tung tree stock, (2) selecting scions,(3) grafting and (4) managing. After grafting, soil has to be maintained moisty and moisture is prevented from invading a joint; when the olive sprouts on the stock under a grafting joint, the sprouts have to be immediately eliminated; terminal buds on main branches and side branches on the stock over the grafting joint have to be eliminated; and the stock has to be cut immediately when scions sprouts. The olive xenoplastic grafting method further comprises step (5) in which, when grafting seedlings grow to one meter, the top is broken; and two to three pairs of buds are remained for continuously growing into main branches. In the method, tung trees are employed for stock grafting olive; the tung trees has fast growth speed, can prevent diseases and pests and resist drought and waterlogging; high grafting rate can be achieved with more than 88%; a new method is provided for olive grafting; and the olive xenoplastic grafting method is simple, easy to operate and suitable for large-scale promotion and use.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of plant breeding, and in particular relates to a method for heterogeneous grafting of olives. Background technique [0002] Olive (Oleaeuropaea.) is an evergreen tree of the genus Oleaceae Oleaceae. It is a world-renowned tree species for woody oil and fruit. The cultivated species have high edible value and are rich in high-quality edible vegetable oil-olive oil. It is a famous subtropical fruit tree and Important economic trees are mainly distributed in Mediterranean countries, with Greece, Italy, Tunisia and Spain as the concentrated production areas. Small evergreen tree, up to 10 m tall; bark gray. Branches gray or taupe, subcylindrical, with scattered round lenticels, branchlets angular, densely covered with silver-gray scales, nodes slightly compressed. Leaf blade leathery, lanceolate, sometimes oblong-elliptic or ovate, 1.5-6 cm long, 0.5-1.5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, with small convex points, base ...
