Abstract

In order to monitor electric energy quality of a power supply network with relatively low overhead by using an electric energy quality field device, the invention proposes a method for monitoring the electric energy quality in the power supply network. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring a first measurement value of a first electric energy quality feature parameter by a measurement apparatus (11) of the electric energy quality field device (10, 50) arranged in a measurement position of the power supply network at a first measurement moment; acquiring a second measurement value of the first electric energy quality feature parameter by the measurement apparatus (11) at a second measurement moment after the first measurement moment; comparing the first and second measurement values with at least one pre-given threshold; and when one of the two measurement values is higher than the at least one threshold and one of the two measurement values is lower than the at least one threshold, generating an event signal indicating that the at least one threshold is destroyed.
