The method comprises the following steps: dissolving the pesticide suspending agent with an Elendt M4 culture solution to prepare a pesticide stock solution; mixing the pesticide stock solution with the Elendt M4 culture solution to prepare a mixed solution with a gradient concentration; taking the mixed solution as domestic water of the daphnia magna and continuously culturing for 48 hours; in a culturing process, recording biological effect parameters of the daphnia magna and physicochemical parameters of the mixed solution every 24 hours; and calculating the median inhibitory concentration EC50 of a pesticide according to the biological effect parameters of the daphnia magna and the physicochemical parameters of the mixed solution, and determining the toxicity of the pesticide suspending agent.
