Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a super-continuum spectrum light source which comprises a seed source system, an amplifying system and a white light generating system. The seed source system at least comprises an optical fiber laser device, and is connected with the amplifying system through a single-mode optical fiber and used for generating ultrashort pulses. The amplifying system at least comprises a main amplifying sub-system, and is used for amplifying the ultrashort pulses. The main amplifying sub-system comprises a first multi-mode laser diode, a first beam combiner and a first pump light detacher, wherein the first beam combiner is connected with the first pump light detacher through a first large mode field gain optical fiber and connected with the first multi-mode laser device through an optical fiber. The white light generating system comprises a mode field adapter and a photon crystal optical fiber, and is used for outputting super-continuum spectrum white light. The mode field adapter is connected with a first isolator and the photon crystal optical fiber through optical fibers respectively. By means of the super-continuum spectrum source, output of average power can be improved.
