The system includes a balloon-borne air sounding unit and a ground data processing unit; the balloon-borne air sounding unit includes a sky balloon and a radiosonde which are connected with each other; the sky balloon is filled with a gas of which the density is smaller than the air so as to pull the radiosonde to fly to the space from the ground according to a certain speed; the radiosonde is used for realizing acquisition and encoding of meteorological elements at a height where the radiosonde is located, and sending data to the ground data processing unit through a wireless data transmission mode; and the ground data processing unit comprises a receiving antenna, a receiver and a data processing server which are connected with one another sequentially and is used for realizing reception, decoding, display and storage of the data sent by the radiosonde.
