Abstract

Hot-roll dual-phase steel and a production method for preventing squashed roll of the hot-roll dual-phase steel. The invention mainly solves a problem of the squashed roll during production of the hot-roll dual-phase steel in the prior art. The hot-roll dual-phase steel is composed of a ferrite and a martensite and includes the chemical components comprising, by mass, 0.05-0.10% of C, 1.40-1.70% of Mn, 0.35-0.60% of Si, not more than 0.03% of P, not more than 0.01% of S, 0.015-0.07% of Al, 0.01-0.04% of Nb, and the balanced being iron and unavoidable impurities. The invention also provides a production method for preventing the squashed roll of the hot-roll dual-phase steel. The method includes the steps of: pretreatment of molten iron, converter smelting, external refining, wide slab continuous casting, hot continuous rolling in a 2300 mm machine set, steel plate reeling, inspection, and packaging and delivery. The production method has low cost, can effectively solve the problem of squashed roll of the hot-roll dual-phase steel, and reduces unnecessary economic loss since a steel plate coil cannot be uncoiled on a machine due to the problem of squashed roll and the steel coil cannot be used.
