Abstract

The simulation test bed is used for the research of steering characteristics, the development and verification of steering assisting control strategies as well as the monitoring and evaluation of steering control effects of the novel electro-hydraulic steering system of the commercial vehicle. The test bed is composed of a simulation scene display device, a real-time simulation platform, a hydraulic power assisting system, a driver control device, a mechanical steering system, an electric power assisting device, a steering resistance simulation device, a base frame and a seat; the simulation scene display device is used for displaying vehicle states and control effects in real time; the electric power assisting device is used for improving the steering characteristic of the steering system, and integrating other chassis electronic control systems; and the steering resistance simulation device is used for simulating steering resistance between tires and the ground.
